Job Overview
This role is a Creative Director industry equivalent inside T-Mobile. From brand design, content expressions and multi-format story-telling all the way to demand gen and offers, these roles help shape and steer creative coming out of the TMUS umbrella. It's a creative leader who can do it all: concepting, art direction, UX, content strategy, writing, collaboration (internally and externally) and most importantly, execution.

They will work directly with the ECD and VP of T|Studios, CCO, marketing leaders, and the creative, digital and production groups to build industry leading creative on behalf of the brand. This role also requires an ability to work closely with high-level leaders within the company to translate their thinking and/or strategy into creative executions, presentations, and engaging content.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Senior Managers serve as a role model for the Studio. This includes mentorship, general attitude, and willingness coach team leads to develop world-class creative.
  • Mentorship includes peer reviewing and providing actionable feedback that teams can apply to their work.
  • Senior Managers manage team highs and lows at work appropriately.
  • Expressing your creativity and inspiring it in others is expected from Senior Managers.
  • You solve problems on your own and develop creative and/or content "strategy".
  • Senior Managers help the creative team craft content that sets current trends in the market.
  • We expect you to create and lead internal strategic brainstorms and other creative events.
  • You develop great creatives (in all aspects) who deliver world-class work for the Brand.
  • We expect you to have strong collaborative relationships with other creative leads, internal and external partners, and your team.
  • Senior Managers have a very close working relationship with all Studio team members and cross-functional leads, setting an example of how to collaborate.
  • You are comfortable presenting to senior leadership as well as internal and external teams.
  • You use your best judgement and represent the Brand Studio POV with partners.
  • You're an expert at providing feedback to peers and other junior members of the team.
  • Senior Managers present content and have a thorough understanding of the strategic creative justifications to support the work.
  • You pay close attention to the brief and provide rationale for decisions tying back to it.
  • You're able to speak to content strategy and channel best practices. It's not just the idea that matters, it's how and where it's executed.
  • You're an authority on Studio creative and can present to C-Level executives and all levels of the organization below.
  • As a Senior Manager, your expected to manager team backoffice operations, Trainings, Workfront, Expenses, Budgets, etc.
  • You also help other team leads establish and evolve Studio Processes.
  • You have comprehensive knowledge about existing studio team processes to help other team members with questions and challenges.
  • You work with internal and external partners to strategically plan and set teams up for creative success.
Education and Work Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree Creative, Design, Communications, Advertising, Film, etc. (Required)
  • 8+ years in a Creative multi-faceted discipline. Working with national or global brands as a creative director or like creative leader. Required
  • You've worked with leading brands and lead high impact creative teams to produce award winning work. Required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Leadership A track record of proven success leading creative teams and working with marketing partners and production managers to create high quality narratives (short and long-form), motion graphics, video, copy and graphic design content for content channels. (Required)
  • Creative Direction Customers aren't considering "marketing teams" when they interact with us. You have a vision of how all customer interactions are evolving (from email to social) and can help steer future work in this direction

    we want passionate Creative thinkers. But we also want Creatives seasoned enough to know when to push back, when to take feedback, and when to move on. (Required)
  • Presentations (Required)
  • You work independently and proactively. You can take a Brief - or more often, a conversation - and turn it into an idea. You know when to get others involved, and how to work with peers inside and outside Creative. (Required)
  • Problem Solving (Required)
  • Love storytelling. T-Mobile's success is due to our ability to craft a motivational story around people and our purpose. We create content that speaks with, not at people. You should be able to copywrite, design and steer work against this mission. (Required)

Base Pay Range: $114,600 - $206,700

Corporate Bonus Target: 20%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year.
