Position Description:

This position requires someone who is local to St. Louis, MO and willing to work on-site.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain user-facing features using React, TypeScript, and Vite
• Build and optimize reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Translate UI/UX wireframes into high-quality, scalable code
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and maintain design consistency across the application
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and back-end engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and coding standards
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• 7+ years building web apps; 4+ years with **React** and **TypeScript**
• Strong UI engineering with **Material UI**, modern React (hooks, suspense), and state/data fetching (React Query/Redux)
• Experience building complex **forms** and **file upload** flows, including validation and error recovery
• Data visualization and large table performance (virtualization, pagination, query-driven filters)
• Solid API integration skills (REST, auth tokens, error mapping, retries, backoff)
• Quality mindset: Jest/RTL, Playwright/Cypress; performance profiling
Desired Qualifications
• Designing operator consoles or partner portals in data/ETL contexts
• Real-time UX (websockets/server-sent events), notifications
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID / Active Directory, Cloud CDN/Storage hosting, feature flags, analytics/telemetry

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $88,200.00 - $195,200.00.
