Our client, a leader in aerospace and avionics solutions, is seeking a Sr EMI Test Engineer to join their team. As a Sr EMI Test Engineer, you will be part of the Hardware Engineering Department supporting high-visibility projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Pay Range: $60/hr plus OT/Benefits

What's the Job?

• Plan and execute Environmental and EMI Qualification tests on avionics products
• Prepare detailed test reports to ensure regulatory compliance
• Assist in product certification processes for customer and regulatory agencies such as FAA
• Identify and communicate non-compliance incidents to relevant teams
• Utilize computer-assisted engineering and design software and testing equipment

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 4+ years of experience in Hardware or Product Engineering
• Proven experience in Environmental and EMI testing for avionics qualification
• Familiarity with product qualification standards such as DO-160, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-810
• Proficiency with electronic test hardware and optical testing/evaluation instrumentation
