Job description:
Senior Electrical Engineer
Electrical Engineer will provide Engineering Support to include, but not limited to the following:
Design low voltage power distribution systems.
Prepare single line diagrams and wiring diagrams under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
Coordinate design with other disciplines (i.e., civil, architectural, mechanical, structural, etc.)
Adhere to our policies as well as the FAA policies for design document development.
Completes a variety of assignments such as drawings, specifications, and other materials suitable for procurement and construction purposes, utilizing CAE/CAD as applicable.
Prepare standard engineering computations, material quality takeoffs, estimates, surveys, and designs.
Prepare detailed requisitions for low voltage equipment and materials.
Size conduit, conductors and overcurrent protection devices per the National Electric Code (NEC).
Reviews small and portions of larger supplier drawing submittals and assists in performing technical bid analyses.
Prepare and issues specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents. Provide input and technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and lower-level Engineers working on the same project.
Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Perform field surveys and collect required data as per project needs.
