Job Description BAE Systems is seeking a Senior Document Management Specialist to join our team located in Washington, D.C. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of an organization's critical records, from creation and storage to revision, retrieval, and disposal. This involves developing and enforcing document control procedures, implementing and administering the electronic document management system (EDMS), and maintaining a standardized file structure to ensure information is consistently and securely managed. The specialist conducts regular audits to ensure documents are complete, accurate, and compliant with both internal policies and external industry-specific regulations, such as those related to quality assurance or legal requirements. The candidate will have experience in compiling and maintaining technical documentation such as monthly reports, white papers, architecture designs, weekly presentations to leadership etc... Examines documents to verify completeness and accuracy of data and resolves discrepancies with document originators. Maintains computerized document control records management system and/or hardcopy documents to ensure compliance with all applicable and required standards including GMP (good manufacturing practice) and QSR (quality system regulation) requirements.
The supported program provides enterprise IT services, including program management, IT infrastructure and shared services, general IT, cybersecurity services, engineering design, telecommunications services, emergency response, transformation, and surge/special projects capability and support. This person shall be located within 50 miles of Washington, D.C.

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

- Minimum/General Experience: Minimum of ten (10) years of document management and configuration control in support of IT and communications to include governance and policy and process development and implementation with a Bachelor's degree.
- Configuration Managment Training Foundation (CMTF) equivalent or greater
- DoDM (former DoD -M) Intermediate (Basic, Intermediate, Advanced) qualification (e.g. Security+ CA) within 6 months of starting position
- Secret Clearance (Active)
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science.
- ITIL v4
- Configuration Managment/Document Managment
