Sr. Desktop Engineer

Our client, a leading technology solutions provider, is seeking a Sr. Desktop Engineer to join their team. As a Sr. Desktop Engineer, you will be part of the Corporate IT team supporting various endpoint technologies. The ideal candidate will have proactive thinking, complex problem-solving skills, and a strong background in desktop environments, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: $0 - $150,000
What's the Job?

• Manage and maintain a large fleet of MacOS and Windows devices.
• Package applications and secure operating systems to ensure optimal functionality.
• Develop and maintain scripts using Bash, Python, and PowerShell for automation and system tuning.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
• Stay current with new and emerging technologies, recommending products beneficial to the company or team.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 10 years designing, building, and supporting desktop environments.
• Expert level knowledge managing MacOS devices with Jamf or Kandji.
• Strong skills in application packaging and securing operating systems using an automation-first mindset.
• Expert level proficiency in Bash or Python and PowerShell scripting.
• Experience in system tuning and performance optimization.
