Senior Database Administrator

Apex is searching for a Senior Database Administrator. The job title is Sr Database Administrator. The hours/shift are 9-5 (40hrs/week). A bachelor's degree with 7 years of experience is required. Required certifications include DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II/8140 Computing Environment (CE) Certification as determined by the Program Manager, and IAT II 8570/8140 Baseline Certification Security+ or equivalent. Preferred certifications are Microsoft Server or Azure certifications. An active top secret clearance is required. The location is fully on-site at Ft. Meade, MD. The rate is $60-70/hr.

Need to have: 7+ years of database administration experience, experience with SQL & SharePoint Online, coordinate database architecture changes with Database Engineer (DBEs), direct the installation of database management systems, databases, tables and views, direct the administration and use of current and emerging database tools, strategies and technologies, create database structures and interfaces to meet customers' requirements, develop, administers, maintains, and implements policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the database, perform database and software life-cycle activities to ensure highest level of system performance and availability and compliance with business requirements.
