Sr Controls Engineer

Our client, an Automation & Engineering Firm, is seeking a Sr Controls Engineer PMP to join their team. As a Sr Controls Engineer, you will be part of the Project Management team supporting various engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization. This is a Jr to Mid Project Manager position for those Sr Engineers with prior part-time PM experience wishing to move into the project management space on a more full time basis.

Pay Range: $140,000.00 To $160,000 DOE plus bonus/benefits

  Manage control systems engineering and design projects from inception to completion.

  Lead teams of engineers and designers to meet quality, budget, and schedule objectives.

  Collaborate with client personnel to achieve successful project outcomes.

  Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures while promoting a culture of safety.

  Develop instrument specifications, P&IDs, and oversee field instrument installations.

What's Needed?

  Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.

• n

  2+ years of experience in managing control systems engineering and design projects.

  n

• n

  Proficiency with PLC/DCS System platforms such as DeltaV, Honeywell Experion, and Rockwell.

• n

  Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.

  n

• n

  Ability to analyze problems and provide workable solutions in a timely manner.
