Insight Global is looking for an AI engineer to collaborate with a diverse team of customer support engineers, sales professionals, technical experts, and product managers to identify business challenges, define use cases, and develop AI-driven applications that transform the way internal users operate and enhance customer interactions.

About the Role

The AI engineer will design and deploy AI applications to solve business problems, build AI applications using cloud services, LLMs, RAG, text-to-SQL, and agentic workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy AI applications to solve business problems.
• Build AI applications using cloud services, LLMs, RAG, text-to-SQL, and agentic workflows.
• Identify data sources, perform data mining, and analyze large datasets.
• Integrate AI solutions into existing systems with application and support teams.
• Optimize algorithms through POCs for performance and scalability.
• Manage database design and tasks.
• Develop AI strategies and roadmaps, and review with senior management.
• Stay updated on AI/ML advancements and document processes.
• Deploy applications on cloud infrastructure for scalability and resilience.
• Manage user access and audit AI applications.
• Develop Backup and Disaster Recovery strategies.
• Administer and maintain AI systems, ensuring security and best practices.
• Report issues and application health to management.
• Patch and upgrade the environment as per policy.
• Maintain documentation for requirements, architecture/design, and test cases.
• Ensure regular data backups.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science (8+ years’ experience) or M.S. in Computer Science (7+ years’ experience).
• 7-10 years in IT, including software and cloud infrastructure design, development, testing, and management.
• 3 years building AI/ML applications (using Amazon Bedrock or similar).

Required Skills

• Using Agentic AI based applications.
• Programming languages such as Python, Java, and C.
• 3 years managing relational and NoSQL databases, and data mining practices and tools.
