Our client, a leader in aerospace technology, is seeking a Sr Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. As a Sr Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting innovative manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and excellent communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sr Advanced Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Pay Range: $45-$56.25/hr plus benefits

What's the Job?

• Provide test and manufacturing support for Ring Laser Gyro (RLG) and Tactical Guidance Products (TGP) production.
• Perform yield and performance data analysis to monitor process capability, product health trends, and drive yield improvements.
• Utilize CAMP, Lean, and Six-Sigma methodologies to govern engineering standard work practices.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues, facilitating issue identification and analysis.
• Develop improvements in product design and in the manufacturing and assembly processes for cost and cycle time reductions.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
• 5+ years of experience in advanced manufacturing engineering.
• Experience with optics, sensors, and/or electronic assemblies.
• Product or process engineering experience.
• Experience with product yield management and improvement.
