The Immunology, Cardiovascular Translational and Early Development team is seeking a talented graduate student to support our genomics and NGS work. They could help design assays, write codes to improve our process and/or perform analyses to identify biomarkers to monitor and predict responses for our drug candidates.

This is a great opportunity to learn about biomedical research in an industry setting, to perform work that will impact drug development timelines, and to learn about the drug development process in a dynamic and highly productive organization.

The full-time Co-Op will take place January - June 2026. Key Responsibilities Depending on the individual's skills, they will have the opportunity to:

• Plan and run their experiments and develop novel assays using human patient samples implementing state-of-the-art technologies
• Run R scripts to improve our process of data reporting, hi-content analysis, etc.
• Design analysis pipelines to analyze large datasets of de-identified patient biological data
• Building dashboards in R/Shiny

Qualifications & Experience Currently enrolled in a Graduate program majoring in Molecular or Cellular Biology, Biotechnology, Computational Biology or Computer Sciences. Basic understanding of genomics and biology. Excellent communication skills and ability to work with scientists, software engineers and collaborators. Knowledge of Python or R programming and analytic and visualization skills. Available for on site full-time employment (40 hrs/week) throughout 6-month program period. (Ensure that leave approval is granted by graduate degree program and advisor before applying) All candidates must be authorized to work in the US both at the time of hire and for the duration of their employment. Please note that immigration or visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

This is a temporary, time-bound position intended for the duration of the internship or co-op program. Employment in this role does not imply or guarantee ongoing or permanent employment with BMS.

The starting hourly compensation for this assignment is within the range of $29.00 to $35.00/hr. Please note that the final individual compensation and any applicable benefits will be determined by your employer of record (and not BMS). Factors influencing this decision may include the characteristics of the assignment, such as demonstrated experience, required skill, and the geographic location of the job. Compensation details are subject to change.
