In this position...

• The Specialist, Employee Relations, working under general direction, is responsible for supporting labor strategy and negotiations actions
• This role conducts daily operations including project management support, collaborating with teams, including cross-functionally, to implement processes and training material.

Responsibilities
What you'll do...

• Support objectives and deliverables for continuous improvement projects. This includes using LEAN tools to help deliver key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify preventive measures to keep processes working as designed.
• Create meeting materials and presentations.
• Support centralized communication process.
• Create and manage SharePoint sites.
• Lead cross-functional tasks, assignments, and projects in support of labor teams including hourly hiring strategy, job security programs, negotiations, wage administration, etc.
• Support and deliver National/Local negotiation planning initiatives including training material and workshops.
• Support National Negotiations contractual language control process.
• Manage National Negotiations facility matters, budget, food services, etc.
• Ad hoc research and other assignments as required.

Qualifications
You'll have...

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial/Labor Relations, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience with a with a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Employee Relations or a related field.
• Plant labor relations preferred (negotiations experience is beneficial)
• Functional proficiency with Microsoft Office software applications and SharePoint.
• Problem solving / conflict resolution.
• Data analysis / data presentation.
• Project management skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication including presentation skills.
• Ability to build consensus with stakeholders.
