Resource Specialist

We are currently seeking a dedicated Resource Specialist to join our team in Burlingame, California. This role is ideal for educators who are committed to supporting students with special needs through personalized instruction and collaborative engagement with school staff and families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and group instruction to students in the Resource Specialist Program based on their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Evaluate student progress regularly and maintain accurate documentation
• Collaborate with administrators, teachers, parents, psychologists, and other professionals to support student success
• Conduct assessments and evaluate referrals for special education services
• Participate in meetings and professional development activities on and off campus
• Write IEPs including transitional goals and adapt curriculum to meet diverse learning needs
• Coordinate with general education teachers to track the effectiveness of instructional modifications
• Research and procure appropriate instructional materials

Requirements:

• Valid California Teaching Credential (CTC)
• Special Education Certification
• Mild/Moderate Credential or Mod/Severe
