Special Education Teacher

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher to support a self-contained K2nd grade STRIDE program in Litchfield Park, Arizona. This assignment begins September 19, 2025, and runs through December. Candidates may choose between a $50/hour rate or a weekly travel package of $2,100. Virtual interviews are available.

Position Highlights

• Location: Litchfield Park, AZ
• Grade Level: Elementary (K2)
• Caseload: Self-contained STRIDE program
• Schedule: MondayFriday, 40 hours/week
• Duration: 15 weeks
• Modality: In-person preferred; virtual interview available

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction and behavioral support
• Collaborate with general education staff and related service providers
• Participate in planning and implementation of individualized student programs

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (preferred)
• Valid Arizona teaching certificate (SPED preferred)
• LBS1 endorsement (preferred)
• Minimum one year of teaching experience (preferred)
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
• CPR certification, TB screening, and health certificate if applicable
• Must be at least 18 years of age
