Pay Rate: $70/hr Schedule: 40 hours/week Duration: 20252026 School Year

Amergis is seeking a dedicated Special Education Resource Specialist Teacher to support students in San Jose, CA for the full 20252026 academic year. This is a full-time, in-person position offering competitive hourly compensation and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive school environment.

Position Details:

• Location: San Jose, CA
• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: June 2026
• Hours: 40 hours/week
• Setting: School-based, in-person
• Caseload: Resource Specialist caseload (details provided during interview)

Requirements:

• Valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential (Mild/Moderate or equivalent)
• Experience working with students in a resource setting preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs effectively

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized academic instruction to students with IEPs
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
• Participate in IEP meetings and maintain compliance documentation
