Special Education Teacher Intense Intervention

Location: Indianapolis Area Pay Rate: $45/hour Benefits: Full benefits package available

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Special Education Teacher with an Intense Intervention license to support students with significant academic and behavioral needs in a school-based setting. This role is ideal for educators who are passionate about making a meaningful impact and providing individualized support to help students thrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct instruction to students with intense intervention needs
• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student's goals
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families
• Utilize evidence-based strategies and data-driven instruction
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

Qualifications

• Valid Indiana teaching license with Intense Intervention endorsement
• Experience working with students with moderate to severe disabilities preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs
