Solo Class A CDL Truck Driver - Regional

Join our team as a Solo Class A CDL Truck Driver at Ryder! We offer an immediate opening for a dedicated driver who is ready to hit the road and enjoy great benefits.

Position Overview

Enjoy a competitive salary of $1500 - $1600 per week! Our drivers are paid weekly with a pay structure that includes:

• $0.655 per mile with an average of 1200 - 1400 miles per week.
• $26.75 per stop, averaging 5 - 10 stops per week.
• 1-2 layovers per week in a Ryder sleeper truck, earning $100 per night.
• Safety bonus of $300, paid quarterly.

Working Schedule

• Monday - Friday
• Start times between 2:00 AM - 7:00 AM.

Job Details

• Deliver solo to the Mid Atlantic Region, New England Region, and select Midwestern states, with possible trips to NYC and its 5 boroughs.
• Type of trailer: Dry Van and Flatbed (no tarping required).
• Loading/unloading involves touch freight with commercial foam.

Truck and Maintenance

We provide trucks that are 36 months old or newer, complete with 24/7 roadside maintenance. Company drivers fuel up at over 800 maintenance facilities nationwide.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Pass all drug tests and background checks.
• Cleans DOT physical and road test.
• Class A CDL and relevant endorsements required.
• Documented experience in tractor-trailer or comparable vehicle:

1. 9 months within the last 3 years, or
2. 2 years within the last 5 years, or
3. 5 years within the last 10 years.
