As an Engineering Manager for Google Home Platform Cloud Provider Integrations, you will lead a team responsible for the life-cycle of how first-party (1P) and third-party (3P) device providers connect their devices and report to the Google Home Platform.

Your team will own the cloud services and APIs that manage device synchronization, real-time state management, and command execution routing. You will drive the strategy and execution for enhancing our provider APIs, improving data quality, reliability, and scale.

Responsibilities

• Manage systems handling device life-cycle, data ingestion, cloud-based device control paths, and intelligent routing mechanisms.
• Set the technical direction, drive engineering excellence, and grow a team.
• Work at the intersection of cloud services, device ecosystems, and smart home technologies.
• Collaborate across time zones with Engineering stakeholders.
