We're looking for a Software Engineer who not only builds high-quality software but also ensures that it runs reliably in production. This role blends full-stack development with systems reliability practices, giving you end-to-end ownership - from code to deployment to monitoring.

Job Responsibilities:

Software Development

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web solutions, including front-end (Angular), back-end (Java/Spring Boot, microservices), and databases (Postgres, Oracle, SQL).
• Extend and optimize data storage mechanisms across relational and non-relational stores.
• Independently design and implement a complete software stack that meets business and customer needs.
• Collaborate in Agile teams, break down features into stories, and write clear documentation.

DevOps / Systems Reliability

• Deploy and operate applications across non-production and production environments.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab, and modern automation tools.
• Build and maintain monitoring dashboards to track application and infrastructure health.
• Use Grafana (APM/observability) and Splunk (logging) to monitor, troubleshoot, and improve reliability.
• Work with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native patterns for scalable deployments.
• Continuously apply monitoring feedback to improve service quality and system performance.

Technical Leadership & Innovation

• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and system teams to deliver technical solutions.
• Mentor associate engineers and contribute to technical knowledge-sharing.
• Continuously learn and apply emerging technologies in both software engineering and DevOps.
• Propose new frameworks and ideas to improve processes and system resilience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience (Required).
• 2-4+ years of software engineering experience in Agile/DevOps environments.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Spring Boot, Angular; plus experience in C, C#, Python, Go, or scripting (Shell/Perl).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab), containers & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with monitoring & logging tools (Grafana, Splunk).
• Strong communication, collaboration, and technical writing skills.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with business intelligence/reporting tools, especially Jaspersoft.

• At least 18 years of age
• Legally authorized to work in the United States

Base Pay Range: $92,500 - $166,800

Corporate Bonus Target: 15%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year.
