Software Engineer

Apex Systems is currently hiring for a Software Engineer with a leading financial services client. This role involves designing and developing backend systems with a strong focus on integrating AI/ML capabilities into scalable production environments.

Qualified candidates will have the following experience and skills:

• 8+ years of software development experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role
• Proficiency in Python and Java for backend development
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn
• Experience deploying ML models in production (e.g., REST APIs, batch jobs)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software architecture
• Experience with MLOps practices including model versioning, monitoring, and CI/CD

Location: Uptown Charlotte

Onsite expectation: Hybrid (based on client expectations)

Pay range: $67.00 - $77.00/hr W2
