Responsibilities

• As a Software Developer 4, you will take a leadership role in designing and delivering advanced software solutions across diverse technology domains and cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and cross-functional teams to provide strategic direction, manage and mentor teams, and oversee end-to-end delivery of complex cloud projects.
• Drive technical designs, uphold high code quality through reviews and mentorship, and champion automation and CI/CD pipeline optimization.
• Adept at stakeholder engagement, project management, and aligning technical initiatives with organizational objectives to foster best-in-class security and coding standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive improvements to development processes in a dynamic, start-up-like environment.

Basic Qualifications

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline
• 5+ years of software development experience with object-oriented programming in at least one language such as Java, C++, C#, .NET, Go, etc.
• Strong problem-solving fundamentals including algorithm design and complexity analysis
• Experience with designing, launching, and maintaining distributed systems at scale
• Experience building web applications, designing REST APIs, and proficiency in SQL and relational databases

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience developing services on a public cloud platform (e.g., Oracle, AWS, Azure)
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with robust testing and deployment strategies
• Experience with virtualization and orchestration stacks
• Experience mentoring junior team members or participating in peer code reviews

Salary and benefits: US: Hiring Range in USD from $96,800 - $223,400 per year, may be eligible for bonus and equity. Oracle offers a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, disability, life insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, holidays, and more.
