Shift: 8 Hours - Day Shifts
Job Schedule: Full time
Weekly Hours: 40.00
Salary Range: $30.00 - $36.00

About the Role:
As a Social Worker in our Behavioral Health Hospital, you will become part of a compassionate and collaborative team delivering high-impact care in a state-of-the-art crisis center. This full-time position features a Monday through Friday schedule, allowing you to enjoy a healthy work-life balance without the demands of nights, weekends, or major holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide supportive counseling and services related to healthcare and home care.
• Be an integral part of the interdisciplinary team, addressing social, emotional, and economic concerns for patients and their families.
• Facilitate crisis intervention and support families in understanding complex medical situations.
• Coordinate care programs among patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Respond to suspected abuse or neglect in accordance with ethical guidelines and state laws.
• Develop comprehensive care plans by accessing resources from social, health, and human services agencies.
• Maintain professionalism during care conferences and advocate for patients' needs.
• Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills effectively.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Social Work from an accredited program required. Must possess a valid license in good standing in Minnesota as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or equivalent credential.
