As a Snowflake Developer you will make an impact by designing and implementing data solutions using Azure Data Factory Python and Snowflake technologies. You will be a valued member of the Manufacturing & Logistics team. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data integration and transformation processes.

In this role, you will:

• Design and implement scalable and efficient data storage solutions using Snowflake
• Design and code using Java Python Data Engineering APIs such as Spark Pandas
• Writes optimize and troubleshoot SQL queries within the Snowflake environment.
• Develop and update CICD scripts with respect to Java Python Snowflake
• Integrate Snowflake with various data sources and third-party tools.
• Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards.
• Work with Product Owners to understand the business process and translate them to technical requirements.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to meet data driven business objectives.
• Mentor junior resources and share knowledge. Work as a team to get requirements delivered.
• Stay updated with the latest Snowflake features and best practices.

Based on this role's business requirements, this is an onsite position requiring 5 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in East Peoria IL.

What you need to have to be considered:

• Experience with Snowflake writing procedures functions UDFs snowflake window functions etc.
• Strong experience in Java or Python with data engineering APIs such as Spark.
• Understanding of cloud concepts.
• Experience with AWS Lambda EC2 Glue S3 and general understanding of other services.
• Experience with multi cloud and hybrid environments
• Experience with AWS Cloud Formations and AWS Tools for VSTS.
• Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell Bash or Python
• Proficiency in using Git for version control
• Excellent communicator and collaboration skills
• Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a relevant field

These will help you stand out:

• Azure AWS Cloud Certifications will be a plus
• Experience with the Manufacturing Supply Chain will be a plus.
• Should be self-driven and be able to drive the projects to delivery

Salary and other compensation:

Applications will be accepted until August 28, 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $68,000 - $123,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
