Pay: 32.83 - 49.25 / hour

Summary

This position evaluates and develops plan of care and treats patients with communication or swallowing deficits. Evaluates plans and implements treatment programs for the rehabilitation of patients as directed by a provider using approved treatment procedures. Provides patient/family education. Participates in family conferences. Is responsible for all necessary documentation as required by accepted medical guidelines and is employed by Mosaic Life Care.

Duties

• Evaluates patients.
• Establishes goals that maximize the patients recovery.
• Plans a treatment program using appropriate treatment procedures that will best accomplish the established goals.
• Treats patients deficits consistent with approved treatment procedures.
• Documents treatment procedures and the patients response to them on a regular basis.
• Participates in staff meetings family conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings as appropriate.
• Participates in continual process improvement.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Masters Degree with graduate of Master of Science degree program accredited in Speech Pathology is required.
• Licensed in Missouri completion or in process of completion of certificate of clinical competency is required within 60 days of hire.
• BLS - Basic Life Support within 90 days of hire.
