Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Conducting routine electrical and electronic preventative maintenance on mill equipment.
• Repairing, modifying, and maintaining various electrical and electronic systems.
• Performing wiring tasks, replacing components, and troubleshooting electronic devices.
• Using instruments such as multi-meters and Meggers for test readings.
• Staying updated with technical changes by attending necessary training sessions.
• Working rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as per schedule.
• Adhering to strict safety rules and regulations while wearing safety equipment and completing all required training.
• Completing other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications We’re Looking For:

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Basic skills in reading, writing, and arithmetic.
• Understanding of electrical fundamentals.
• Familiarity with 3-phase and single-phase power distribution systems, motor controls, and troubleshooting these systems.
• Experience with 480-volt power and logic circuits.
• Strong computer skills along with mathematical and analytical abilities.
• Ability to interpret and follow electrical schematics without oversight.
• Familiarity with machine control systems and controllers.
• Willingness to learn and adapt by cross-training in new areas.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to maintain consistent attendance and work as part of a team.
• Preparedness to work on an emergency call-in basis when necessary.

What Will Distinguish You:

• Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
• Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and their troubleshooting.
• Ability to interpret PLC logic in relation to process and equipment.
