Shop Pipefitter

Job Title: Shop Pipefitter, 2nd shift, up to $35/hr.

We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team on a long-term project basis. This role offers competitive compensation and additional benefits for travelers and local candidates.

Responsibilities

• Consult blueprints, work orders, schematics, or instructions to determine layouts and connections.

• Weld, cut, bend, thread, solder, and fit pipes.

• Attach pipes and piping systems to walls using brackets, bracket systems, or clamps; cut or bore holes prior to the project.

• Inspect pipes, testing for pressure and leaks; report and/or resolve problems.

Essential Skills

• 3-5+ years of experience with pipefitting.

• Experience with carbon steel and stainless steel pipes.

• Ability to read blueprints to determine layouts and connections.

• Must possess or obtain OSHA 10 or higher certification.

• Scissor Lift Certification and Fall Protection experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Journeyman card is preferred.

• Possession of own hand tools.

• Experience with sheet metal and duct work is advantageous.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
