As a Shop Foreman, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective maintenance and repair of various equipment. You will be responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and diagnosing issues on hydraulics, electrical systems, and gasoline/diesel engines. Additionally, you will perform repairs and refurbish equipment such as gas and diesel engines, and set up and detail these engines before they are relaunched to customers. You will also utilize electrical and hydraulic schematics, and your duties may include assembling equipment, grinding knives and blades, and completing demos on preowned and leased equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Test, troubleshoot, and diagnose issues on hydraulics, electrical systems, and gasoline/diesel engines.
• Perform repairs and refurbish equipment such as gas and diesel engines.
• Set up and detail hydraulics, gas and diesel engines before relaunching to customers.
• Utilize electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Assemble equipment and grind knives and blades.
• Complete demos on preowned and leased equipment.

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in repairing and maintaining mobile or automotive equipment.
• Ability to diagnose electrical systems and hydraulic systems.
• Competence in reading and understanding schematics.
• Experience in diagnosing both diesel and gasoline engines.
• Possession of a set of basic hand tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in engine repair and maintenance.
• Familiarity with mechanical assembly, engine rebuild, and component assembly.
• Knowledge of schematic, build, cable, wiring, and blueprint reading.

Work Environment:

Work the first shift from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with some mandatory overtime on Saturdays. The work environment includes fans and plans for additional airflow, although it is not climate-controlled. The shop is exceptionally clean, reflecting the company's commitment to maintaining a professional workspace.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Deerfield Beach, Florida.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
