Shipping and Receiving Operator

As a Shipping and Receiving Operator, you will be responsible for learning and performing a variety of tasks in the designated area, including blending, CIP, and intake processes. Your role is crucial in ensuring product quality and conformity to meet customer standards and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform various jobs in the shipping and receiving area.
• Pass all applicable testing required for the designated areas.
• Report unsafe conditions and food safety violations to the manager.
• Record data collection materials.
• Comply with HACCP and GMP protocols for production.
• Follow established programs, policies, and practices to produce safe quality foods that meet regulatory and company requirements.
• Maintain safe work practices at all times.
• Ensure good housekeeping in the working area.
• Perform monthly/weekly preventative maintenance program.
• Demonstrate a high degree of ownership for product quality, understanding of production schedules, and work instructions.
• Perform other tasks as negotiated with the supervisor.

Essential Skills

• GMP protocols
• Production knowledge
• 2+ years of Machine Operator experience

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• GMP preferred

Work Environment

The work environment includes a rotational shift schedule with 1st shift starting at 3:30am/5:30am/6:30am, 2nd shift from 1pm to 9:30pm, and 3rd shift from 9:30pm to 5:30am.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waukesha, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
