Production Worker Opportunity

Actively hiring for an entry level Production Worker for a large glass manufacturing company located in Stamford, CT. This is a great opportunity for anyone with hands on warehouse or distribution experience to get their foot in the door in manufacturing.

Pay: $18/hr - OT available on weekends - time and a half on Saturdays and double time on Sundays.

Shift: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts available.

Job Description:

This entry-level position is primarily responsible for performing weigh-up or packaging duties within the production department. The role ensures the highest quality product at the lowest possible cost, meeting customer specifications and delivery requirements in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Perform weigh-up or packaging duties within the production department.
• Ensure the production of high-quality products at minimal cost.
• Meet customer specifications and delivery requirements.
• Follow work instructions and safety protocols.
• Contribute to maintaining a collaborative employee engagement environment.

Essential Skills:

• 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow work instructions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in an industrial setting preferred.
• Manufacturing experience is preferred but not required; warehouse experience is also acceptable.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
