Shipping Associate

As a Shipping Associate, you will be responsible for efficiently shipping products by pulling them off the conveyor, palletizing, and wrapping skids. This role is crucial in ensuring that products are dispatched correctly and on time.

Responsibilities:

• Pull products off the conveyor belt and prepare them for shipping.
• Palletize products and ensure they are securely wrapped.
• Utilize RF scanners for tracking and inventory purposes.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient shipping and receiving processes.

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency with RF scanners.
• Prior warehouse experience.
• Ability to lift, carry, pull, and push up to 40 - 70 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Strong command of the English language for reading and writing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with computers and scanning equipment is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems.
• Willingness to work overtime during weekdays and weekends as required.

Work Environment:

Work in a bustling distribution center dedicated to shipping scientific equipment to schools, hospitals, and medical labs. Join a team of 100-120 professionals split into receiving, picking, and shipping groups. Enjoy a collaborative environment with shifts available from Monday to Friday, either 8:30 am to 5:00 pm or 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm, with a 10% shift differential for the latter.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nazareth, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.70/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
