We are seeking a dedicated shipping and receiving clerk to join our dynamic team. This role involves loading and unloading merchandise from trucks and containers using a fork truck, fulfilling orders utilizing packing slips, and cutting material to specified lengths. You will operate power tools, inspect and verify shipments, organize and store merchandise, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload merchandise from trucks and containers using a fork truck.
• Fulfill orders by following packing slips and cutting materials to specified lengths.
• Operate power tools such as miter saws, drill press, and battery-operated tools.
• Inspect and verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy.
• Organize and store merchandise efficiently in the warehouse.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety regulations and procedures.
• Operate material handling equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks.

Essential skills:

• Experience in production, general labor, and assembly.
• Proficiency in inventory management, shipping, receiving, and kitting.
• Ability to use rf scanners and perform order picking.
• Skilled in operating forklifts and general production equipment.

Additional skills & qualifications:

• Experience in material handling, order picking, and shipping.

Work environment:

Work in a fast-paced yet clean smaller shop. The position is for the 1st shift, operating from 8 am to 4:30 pm.

Job type & location:

This is a contract position based out of loretto, minnesota.

Pay and benefits:

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $44.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
