Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Our client, an Industrial leader in Bedford VA, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the shipping department supporting the logistics team. The ideal candidate will have forklift skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and working outside in all weather conditions which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Forklift Operator

Location: Bedford, VA

Pay Range: $18.00 hr
Hours 1st shift 7 a.m.  to 5:00 p.m.

What's the Job?

• Driving a forklift and box truck to assist with loading and unloading trucks.
• Maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Operating in and out of the plant in a primarily outdoor setting.
• Ensuring safety protocols are followed during operations.
• Performing other warehouse duties as assigned.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Valid forklift and box truck driving license (no CDL required).
• Ability to pass a substance use screening and background checks.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work a day shift schedule, Monday to Thursday from 7 am to 5 pm, and Fridays 7 a.m. to noon
