The Contents And Cleaning Tech is responsible for tracking and documenting all aspects of the contents handling and processing on a project. This includes the pack-out portion of a job, cleaning of contents and put-back of contents. Compensation listed is per hour pay; all hours over 40 a week is overtime. Major duties and responsibilities include content inventory related activities for the commercial/residential project, documenting all content inventory within the structure, working on contents through the moving, cleaning or deodorization process, and documenting all non-salvageable contents within the commercial project.

Required knowledge, skills, and abilities include the ability to read, write, and speak the English language to communicate with others, in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straightforward, and professional manner. Multi or bilingual language skills are preferred but not required. Detailed oriented with respect to the documentation of all contents, intermediate organizational skills, experience in cleaning/restoration preferred, ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance, ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics), ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time, ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects, and ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals. Should attain the OSHA 30-Hour General Industry training certification.

Working conditions include fast-paced, high pressure work environment, shift hours may vary depending on the size and scope of the project but will typically consist of eight (8) to ten (10) hour shifts, ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time, and ability to travel locally when necessary. A driver's license is required for this position.
