Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic

Job Description

  Repair heavy duty trucks, vehicles, trailers, and equipment.

  n

  Ability to repair air brake system and basic engine repair.

  n
n
• n

  Ability to perform clutch and brake adjustment.

  n
n
• n

  Ability to repair cooling systems.

  n
n
• n

  Ability to perform work on suspensions and steering components.

  n
n

Responsibilities

• n

  Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on heavy duty trucks, vehicles, trailers, and equipment.

• n

  Maintain cleanliness of shop area.

  n
n
• n

  Adhere to all safety rules.

  n
n
• n

  Other duties as assigned.

n

Qualifications

n
• n

  Prior mechanic experience.

  n
n
• n

  At least 18 years old.

  n
n
• n

  You must have your own hand tools.

  n
n
• n

  Reliable, organized, detailed, and focused.

  n
n
• n

  Ability to move up to 100 lb and lift up to 50 lb.

  n
n
• n

  HS Diploma or equivalent required.

  n
n
