Aviation Service Mechanic

Aerotek is seeking a service mechanic responsible for the maintenance of hydraulic-lift box trucks, used to deliver catering to aircraft on the tarmac. Pay is $68k-80k. GSE mechanics, Diesel Mechanics and Heavy equipment mechanics are encouraged to apply - great long-term opportunity in the Aviation industry!

Working in a shop in the non-badged areas adjacent to the airport, this person will repair and maintain the mechanic, electrical, and hydraulic systems of these box trucks. Tasks include:

• Troubleshooting: Proficient in using diagnostic software for repairs, reading mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic schematics, and solving complex problems independently by proactively seeking necessary information.
• Maintenance and Repairs: Independently perform technical, mechanical, and electrical repairs, conduct high-standard quality checks, and ensure safe transport of GSE while actively participating in OHS processes and reporting.
• Administrative Support: Accurately report work orders and time sheets in the TCR system, check vehicles, scan spare parts, complete maintenance checklists, and handle the replenishment and documentation of used parts.
• Compliance & Quality: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Uphold quality control measures and product integrity.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $68000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
