Service Manager position available in the Grand Rapids, Michigan area.

This is a direct hire opportunity working at an established company. Salary-$55K plus commission opportunities. Hours will be M-F, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Weekends are rare, some OT may be available. The service manager position role involves overseeing service operations, repairs, managing a team, ensuring customer satisfaction, and meeting financial targets.

Key Responsibilities for Service Manager role:

• Manage daily workflow and team productivity
• Supervise and coach service staff
• Maintain department profitability and control expenses
• Provide quotes and manage repair orders
• Ensure accurate documentation and job follow-up
• Handle customer service issues professionally
• Enforce safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required; degree preferred
• Valid driver's license; must pass background and drug screening
• Prior management experience in a service or manufacturing setting preferred
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
