What you’ll do:

The Teller is typically the first person the customer encounters when whey walk into a bank.  Tellers process a variety of routine financial transactions (check cashing, withdrawals, deposits, loan payments, etc.) and accurately balance these transactions while maintaining friendly and positive relationships with customers and coworkers.  Responsibilities include:
 

• Operate a teller drawer to serve customers and bank personnel in lobby or drive up. 

• Recognize potential cross-sell opportunities and direct customers to appropriate bank personnel  

• Develop skills to recognize potential fraud and report to management as necessary  

• Comply with all department, bank and regulatory policies and procedures 

• May be responsible for bank opening/closing and may be required to participate in community events

• Assist with training of teller staff and problem resolution.  

• Assist manager with operational tasks such as audits and bookkeeping

Qualifications:
 

• 1+ years of previous teller experience 

• Excellent customer service and communication skills 

• High school diploma or GED required

• Able to lift 30 lbs.; able to stand for long periods of time 

• Travel between branches may be necessary

Compensation:

The estimated hourly rate for this role is $20.00 - $22.00, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual pay rate may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and experience.
