Senior Technical Program Manager, Data Center Planning

We are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead complex, cross‑functional projects that build and optimize Google’s data center operations across the United States and beyond.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of program management experience.
• 8+ years of experience in management consulting, capacity planning, or operations planning.
• Proven ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders across multiple organizations and levels.

Preferred qualifications

• 8+ years of experience managing cross‑functional or cross‑team projects.
• Strong ability to balance detailed analysis with big‑picture thinking and to tailor communication for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement with critical ML and Cloud partners, ensuring coordination of planning and reporting across leadership.
• Partner with teams developing new data‑center supply to maintain a holistic demand‑plan view.
• Develop a finance‑informed and aligned demand plan, setting up efficient process flows, executive reviews, and decision frameworks.
• Collaborate with ML stakeholders to align planning outcomes with executive mandates (e.g., critical workloads).
• Present and reconcile trade‑offs among competing priorities, providing clear analysis and guidance to drive leadership decisions.

US base salary range: $183,000 – $271,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Salary is determined by role, level, and location.
