The salary range for this position is expected to be between $144,900 and $161,000, depending on experience, with additional benefits and bonuses included in our comprehensive package.

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

This role is crucial in executing advanced engineering problem-solving to support the operations of our nuclear plants. You will be responsible for making critical technical decisions while leveraging your superior knowledge of electrical engineering and industry standards.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Conduct advanced engineering and technical tasks to enhance nuclear plant operations.
• Engage in independent research and analysis for various technical projects.
• Deliver in-depth technical expertise to manage and implement engineering solutions enhancing plant safety, reliability, maintainability, and availability, aligned with customer needs and regulatory standards.
• Ensure the precision, completeness, and timeliness of engineering work while maintaining proper configuration management.
• Provide hands-on technical consultation to identify and resolve equipment and system challenges.
• Handle initial or comprehensive management of engineering tasks.
• Suggest innovative equipment and techniques to enhance performance, streamline construction, cut costs, rectify design flaws, and adapt to regulatory changes.
• Support modifications and testing related to plant design and troubleshooting.
• Guarantee that all engineering outputs adhere to safety analyses, industry codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee functional supervisory responsibilities, including personnel management and budget accountability.
• Accept additional job responsibilities as assigned, including emergency response duties, departmental coverage, or other positions supporting outage activities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Chemical, Civil/Structural, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear) accompanied by 10 years of engineering experience.
• Demonstrated experience in technical leadership, teamwork, and effective interpersonal skills.
• Ability to meet access requirements and pass medical examinations as necessary for this role.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Professional Engineer (PE) License.
