Job Summary

The Senior Sous Chef supports daily culinary operations by assisting the Executive Chef with menu planning, food preparation, team supervision, and cost control. This role is hands-on and fast-paced, ideal for a creative culinary leader with high standards for quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations and controlling food costs
• Support menu development and ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation
• Lead execution of catering events
• Implement new culinary programs with the marketing and culinary teams
• Supervise and train hourly kitchen staff, maintaining food safety and sanitation standards

Preferred Qualifications:

• Culinary Arts degree or certificate
• Proven culinary/kitchen management experience
• High-volume foodservice and catering experience preferred
• Strong understanding of food trends, production, sanitation, and cost control
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills
• ServSafe certification preferred
• Willingness to engage in guest satisfaction programs
• Institutional or batch cooking experience is a plus
