Designs, develops, evaluates, plans and tests engineering specifications for software programs and applications. Participate in sprint planning. Monitor and maintain software systems supporting high priority customer missions. Interact with end users to generate requirements and enhancements to existing systems.

What you'll need to succeed: Bring your engineering expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Software Developer Sr Principal must have: Education: Technical training, certification(s) or degree. Experience: 8+ years of related experience. Technical skills: C/C++, Python, Networking, CI/CD, Linux. Security clearance level: TS/SCI with full-scope poly. US citizenship required. Role requirements: Familiarity with Signal Processing and Communication Network Protocols is a plus.

The likely salary range for this position is $161,500 - $218,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Scheduled weekly hours: 40. Travel required: Less than 10%. Telecommuting options: Onsite. Work location: USA MD Hanover. Additional work locations: None.
