We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Platform Integration Facility team. In this role, you will lead and mentor fellow quality engineers and inspectors in their daily tasks to support the manufacturing floor, ensuring high-quality standards are met. Your expertise in manufacturing practices and supplier management will be invaluable.

Primary Responsibilities:

As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will lead and instruct other quality engineers and inspectors, enhancing their skills and ensuring efficient operations on the manufacturing floor. Your responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing assembly operations, testing, non-conformances, and root cause investigations.
• Conducting internal and third-party audits to maintain compliance.
• Collaborating effectively with all management levels across various departments and with customers.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with 8-12 years relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 6-10 years relevant experience. Candidates with a High school diploma/GED along with 15 years of experience will also be considered.
• Quality experience with ISO9001/AS9100 systems or equivalent experience in DOD, Aerospace, or Automotive manufacturing.
• Proficient in managing non-conforming materials and performing failure analyses.
• Experience in writing work instructions, procedures, and QMS documentation adhering to AS9100 standards.
• Ability to interpret contract quality clauses and develop quality verification procedures effectively.
• Strong communication skills and team collaboration abilities.
• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain/maintain a final Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in mentoring and training quality personnel.
• Electrical and mechanical quality experience is advantageous.
• Radar experience is beneficial.

Pay Range: $89,700.00 - $162,150.00

The pay range for this position is a guideline and may vary based on various factors including responsibilities, education, experience, and internal equity.
