nAbout the role
nThe Senior Project Manager/Electrical Engineer provides consulting services to our global technology client account to help achieve the company's strategic business objectives.
nThis job is part of the Project Management function responsible for the management of hyperscale data center projects from initiation through completion. This is a remote position that may require travel to construction or operational sites as needed.
nWhat you'll do
nReview and assist technical development of electrical systems for hyperscale data centers including campus planning, general layout/arrangements, single line diagrams, SCCAF, and calculations.
nReview and assist technical development of site primary substation.
nReview internal specifications and vendor compliance statements (CDE).
nOversee design consultants and provide direction in accordance with established engineering standards.
nPeer review design consultants' work including drawing sets, specifications, sequence of operations, calculations, models, and provide comments & resolutions in accordance with established engineering standards.
nReview and advise on potential value engineering opportunities.
nDevelop rapid conceptual sketches using CAD or BIM for visualization and spatial/dimensional validations.
nManage all areas of project management for multiple real estate projects including planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
nWork directly with clients to prepare all elements of the project. This includes the scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimates & budget, work plan schedule & landmarks, quality control, and risk identification.
nDefine the project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through the project qualification process. Conduct complex requests for proposals, complete bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients.
nFacilitate regular meetings to review project status for active and pending projects.
nApply advanced knowledge to seek and develop new, better methods for accomplishing both individual and department objectives.

nContribute to new products, processes, standards, and/or operational plans in support of achieving functional goals.

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred with 8-10 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

Familiarity with mission critical facility infrastructure with 2 or more years of experience with large-scale, complex data center infrastructure

Familiarity with Google Workspace and its related products (Sheets, Docs, Slides)

Experience coordinating scope with multiple trades (Architecture, telecom, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and structural)

Ability to work independently with little or no supervision

nTurner & Townsend carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is $150,000 annually and the maximum salary for this position is $190,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on Turner & Townsend's applicable benefit program.
