Senior Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll Specialist to join their finance team in San Francisco, CA.

Responsibilities

• Manage and process payroll for employees across multiple states, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Utilize ADP Workforce Now to accurately process payroll, including regular, overtime, and special payments.
• Maintain and update employee payroll records, including deductions, benefits, and tax withholdings.
• Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve any issues in a timely manner.
• Prepare and submit payroll reports to management and regulatory agencies as required.
• Stay current with changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure seamless payroll operations.
• Provide exceptional customer service to employees regarding payroll inquiries and issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll processing, with a focus on multi-state payroll.
• Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now is a must.
• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
