Job Summary

The Senior Nursing Assistant (NA) provides expert compassionate care to residents in long-term care, working under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). Demonstrate your skills in delivering exceptional resident-centered nursing care that aligns with each individual's care plan. You will be an integral part of the nursing team, committed to infection control policies and Personal Protective Equipment protocols.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting residents with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Monitoring and recording vital signs, while delivering emotional support and personal care.
• Assisting with mobility, including transferring and repositioning residents using proper techniques.
• Creating a positive dining experience by assisting in food preparation and provision of meals.
• Documenting resident interactions and changes in condition to ensure quality care.
• Engaging residents in wellness and recreational activities.
• Participating in department committees and task forces as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum age of 16, with two years of clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• CNA certification required.
• Commitment to ongoing education, with a minimum of 12 hours of continuing education annually.
• May require Restorative Nursing training within 6 months.
