Salary Range: $18.50 - $29.50

Job Summary:

The Senior Nursing Assistant serves as an experienced caregiver, delivering resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under a registered nurse's supervision. You will utilize your expertise to support residents in meeting their physical and psychological needs, maintaining a high standard of care and accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing.
• Monitor and record vital signs, and provide emotional support and personal care.
• Help with mobility, including transferring and repositioning residents safely.
• Contribute to food preparation and assist residents during meals, ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Work collaboratively with nursing staff and document care activities and resident conditions.
• Participate in wellness and recreational programs, encouraging resident engagement.
• May assist with housekeeping and laundry services to maintain a clean living environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum age of 16. Two years of nursing assistant experience in long-term care is preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing required.
• Annual completion of continuing education and department-specific competency testing.
• May need to complete Restorative Nursing training within 6 months.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and meet certain driving qualifications if applicable.
