Senior Municipal Engineer

Major functions include:

• Engagement with existing and potential clients for business development
• Provide technical support and mentorship to engineering staff
• Attendance at municipal meetings
• Review of plans for residential and commercial developments
• Wastewater design and review
• Stormwater Plan reviews including Erosion and Sedimentation Plan reviews
• Stormwater conveyance and management project design services
• MS4 permit assistance
• Review and approve developers Escrow calculations
• Review and recommend for approval Escrow releases
• Engineering review of construction activities
• Respond to all manner of general engineering requests
• Act as a liaison to regulatory agencies as required

Minimum:

• BA/BS Civil, Environmental or related field and 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
• Experience with management of site or infrastructure projects
• PE License with ability to obtain reciprocity in Delaware

Preferred:

• Experience working with local municipalities in the Delaware region
• Experience with a broad range of engineering disciplines, including site design, stormwater, permitting, and land development.
• Familiarity or knowledge of state and local permitting and regulations
• Ability to travel throughout the state as needed to support client and business development needs in Pennsylvania and/or Maryland.
