Senior Manager, Finance Connected Planning

Join Sam's Club as a Sr. Manager, Finance Connected Planning and play a key role in shaping the future of financial planning and business optimization across the organization. As part of the Connected Planning team, you will help create a seamless, end-to-end planning experience that supports strategic goals and enhances decision-making across merchandising, operations, ecommerce, membership, and supply chain. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, can move between strategic thinking and operational execution, and has strong financial and analytical acumen. You'll work cross-functionally with finance, data, product, and business partners to deliver innovative planning capabilities powered by technology, including machine learning and GenAI.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
• 35 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, or business operations
• 1+ years of experience working on cross-functional initiatives or projects
• Experience using planning tools or analytics platforms is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders
• Experience working in Agile or product-led environments is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a large, matrixed organization
• Exposure to transformation or change management efforts
• Familiarity with Connected Planning principles and technology
• Experience implementing or managing Connected Planning platforms
• Understanding of GenAI or ML-based forecasting tools
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Industry experience in retail, supply chain, or membership-based business models
• Master's degree or MBA is a plus

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 4 years' experience in accounting, finance, or related area OR 6 years' experience in accounting, finance, or related area. 1 year's experience leading and completing cross-functional projects. 1 year's supervisory experience.
