Responsibilities:

As a Senior Living Transport Driver, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of our residents by providing safe and reliable transportation to their appointments and outings. This position involves driving various community vehicles, including buses, vans, limousines, sedans, and trams. You will ensure residents receive all necessary assistance during their journeys, while also fulfilling operational tasks related to driving. Additionally, you will assist the Lifestyle Director with scheduling, recordkeeping, and training processes.

Qualifications:

To be considered, applicants must have at least 6 months of experience as a bus or van driver. A valid and current driver's license for the vehicle class driven at the time of hire is required. Willingness to obtain a CDL (Commercial Driver's License/Class B Endorsement) is essential. Current CPR and First Aid certifications are also required or you must be willing and able to achieve certification.

Additional qualifications include:

• Maintaining a clean DMV driving record.
• Familiarity with the surrounding neighborhood area.
• Excellent communication skills, patience, and the ability to handle stress while addressing the needs of older adults.
• A client and customer-focused approach to problem-solving and goal-setting.
• Sensitivity to the needs of older adults and a genuine enjoyment in working with the senior population.

Pay Range: USD $20.00 - USD $24.49 /Hr.
