• Seeking a strong and energetic full-stack technical expert to enhance our Marketing and Membership development team by creating applications and services utilizing Java, React, and AWS Cloud technologies.
• Expertise in developing microservices using the Spring Boot Framework is essential.
• Leverage your senior engineering skills to design, develop, and deploy new features for BJ's Membership applications and APIs.
• Create detailed technical specification documents for new functionalities, ensuring seamless integration with existing technologies in accordance with BJ's Software Engineering/Security standards and strategy.
• Collaborate closely with different BJ's teams, including Application Development, Middleware, BI, and Operations and Infrastructure, as well as offshore partners, to effectively coordinate and execute solutions based on defined requirements.
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with diverse business groups and IT partners.
• Actively engage in requirements gathering, architecture, and design discussions.
• Revamp existing applications using modern technology stacks.
• Provide on-call production support for Marketing and Membership applications, microservices, and Adobe Product Suite (AEM, ACC, AEP, Target).
• Conduct code reviews to maintain quality standards.
• Serve as a technical lead on a range of small to medium-sized projects.
• Possess a robust understanding of Data Structures/Algorithms and performance tuning.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.
• 6-8 years of experience with Spring Framework, RESTful APIs, Microservices, Java, HTML, React, CSS, JavaScript, JDBC, JMS/MQ, SQL/Postgres, and DynamoDB.
• Proven experience with cloud technologies, including RDS, API Gateways, Lambda, and DynamoDB; strong systems analysis and design skills with a track record of successfully overseeing the deployment of enterprise-scale applications.
• Experience with SDLC and Agile methodologies; familiarity with marketing applications such as CRM, Campaign Management, and Marketing Automation and Personalization is desirable.

This is a hybrid role with in-office days at BJ's Club Support Center located in Marlborough, MA on Tuesday through Thursday, while Monday and Friday are remote workdays.

In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the compensation range for this position starts from $98,000.00, with actual salaries varying based on factors such as location, education, experience, and qualifications.
